Week 15 – Changing Seasons

The weather has turned autumn-like and the days are getting shorter. However there is so much good food at the market right now. Squash has transitioned from summer (zucchini) to fall (pumpkins and delicata) and even winter (acorn, butternut, kabocha). There are still berries to be had. And don’t forget that we have cheese, honey, Alaskan fish, pickles, and preserves!

In preparation for the final market day next week, here is the schedule of events for September 26. Let’s celebrate the great things of 2019 together!

  • 3:00-6:30: For the kids: A scavenger hunt! With prizes!
  • 3:30-4:30: Chef Lesa of Lesa Cooks! She’ll create something delicious from Farmers’ Market products
  • 5:00-5:30: Gramma Berta will give a Canning Demonstration using seasonal produce
  • 5:45-6:45: Jess Morse, Enumclaw local musician and singer will end our market with her talents

This is our thank you to our customers, our vendors, our sponsors and our board and market manager for being part of the village that made this market happen this year. Please join us!

This will be your last chance to stock up on produce and products for your dinner table and even purchase unique Christmas presents!

Only Three Weeks Left in the 2019 Season

The 2019 season is starting to wind down and we have only 3 markets left. We hope you have enjoyed coming to the market each week. Our volunteers and vendors have really enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you. We are already looking forward to next year!

We’d appreciate any feedback that you might have about your market experiences this summer. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey. It will help us in our planning for next year and beyond.
